MTS BA-0000315-IT Consultant Intermediate

The IT Consultant will support the Argo program management, specifically in the implementation of
support services for program management. The project involves the migration of SAP systems to SAP
S/4HANA, focusing on the rail system network. The current SAP landscape includes over 20 applications
across various business units and management functions, particularly in finance, purchasing, controlling,
and maintenance of vehicles and infrastructure. The upgrade aims to simplify the architecture and align
it with core maintenance processes, reducing redundancies and improving flexibility.
Services Required:
 Consultation:
o Provide professional advice and guidance to the client on various IT aspects.
o Methodical support in the requested task area.
 Project Management:
o Structural preparation of cross-project appointments for program management.
o Definition and query of milestones and work packages.
o Evaluation and presentation of solution options.
 Workshops and Documentation:
o Preparation, moderation/implementation, and documentation of workshops with client
representatives and boards of directors.
o Preparation of draft resolutions and client appointments.
 Analysis and Solution Development:
o Analyze current conditions and develop solution options.
o Conduct performance measurements and assess success metrics.

Project Details:
 Location:
o The primary place of performance is Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Services are to be
provided onshore from Germany. Any services outside Germany require prior approval
from the client, with any cost advantages passed on to the project. Services outside the
EU are generally not planned.
o Regular on-site activities may be necessary for coordination with Argo’s program and
project management.
 Duration and Workload:
o The project spans multiple years with specific yearly workloads:
 01.10. – 31.12.2024: 40 PT

 01.01. – 31.12.2025: 200 PT (40 PT on-site)
 01.01. – 31.12.2026: 100 PT
 01.01. – 31.12.2027: 200 PT (48 PT on-site)

Technical Requirements:
 Experience:
o Project Management:
 Intermediate level, with over 3 years of proven experience in project
management.
 At least 1 project reference for a project with a duration of 3+ years, a total
volume of 100+ million EUR, and 500+ project employees (internal/external
resources).
o Industry Knowledge:
 Experience in the railway industry is a plus.
o Stakeholder Management:
 Experience in stakeholder management at the management level (project
manager).
o Success Measurement:
 Experience in setting up success measurements for S/4 HANA projects.

 Skills:
o Committee Work:
 Experience in preparing draft resolutions and participating in committee work.
o Program Management:
 Experience in program management of large S4/Hana migration projects.
